Ordering Guidance
For school planning, order at least one ADA table for each student who uses a wheelchair and is expected to use the outdoor seating area at the same time.
Federal guideline: The 2010 ADA Standards require at least 5% of the seating and standing spaces at dining surfaces to comply, with no fewer than one accessible space. The one-table-per-wheelchair-student recommendation above is a practical planning guideline, not the federal calculation.
